Wayne began his career in Public Service as a Police Officer in Colorado serving the community honorably and courageously for over 11 years. He continued his education and public service career by becoming a Registered Nurse in Colorado and later in Arizona. With Wayne’s knowledge, attention to detail, combined with his ambition, compassion and clinical skills allowed for multiple promotions and subsequent service in leadership roles for several large healthcare systems. Wayne progressed through several increasing responsibility roles in managing several large critical healthcare and community infrastructure projects in the valley. He has also overseen multiple clinical operations, managed specialized units, and managed large healthcare operating budgets. His leadership skills have proven that he has a strong record of being an essential part of the leadership team and instrumental in providing effective solutions that produce an immediate impact and contribute to the organizations’ success. Wayne has also received several recognitions for his work with various community partners as well as from Federal, Local, County, and State government agencies.
Wayne lives in the West Valley, Arizona with his wife and children. He continues to be known as a subject matter expert and is a well-respected leader in the Phoenix Metro Area. Wayne has earned both a BA degree in Criminal Justice from Colorado North Western and a BSN Degree from Grand Canyon University. He continues to receive multiple community recognitions and awards for his outstanding service to the community and for his leadership throughout the valley as he continues his involvement in public service through supporting and working with government and community partners that include: Arizona Nurse Association, American Heart Association, AZFOP—Arizona Fraternal Order of Police, FEMA- Federal Emergency Management Association, Dysart School District Volunteer, St. Mary’s Food Bank and Valleywise Health Foundation.
